Those of you who are familiar with my work will know that I am absolutely in love with nature as a subject. The drawings and paintings that are available in my Etsy shop depict woodland flora and fauna, inspired by the seasons, the elements, and the natural landscape. Making art is an important part of my daily life, helping to promote good mental health practices as well providing an outlet for creative expression.
My work is personal but not private. I believe that the beauty of nature is there for everyone to enjoy, and learning to live in connection with the natural world is a universal part of the human experience. In this way, my work is intended to portray the reverence and respect for nature that I feel as an individual, and to remind us all of our duty to care for this planet at a local and global level. The choices that we make today matter, so let’s make the right ones. It is for this reason that I have pledged to donate 5% of the profits from every sale to Greenpeace and Friends of the Earth, and choose to use eco-friendly packaging when shipping orders. Studio Llewellyn walks the talk.
Finally, I also want to contribute to the growth of the amazing community of artists out there. It is wonderful to be able to connect with you across the globe through social media, to share ideas and encouragement. Whether you make art as a hobby or for a living, Studio Llewellyn appreciates your awesomeness.
